The Yuva Skill Foundation has started a journey from 2014. The main objective of YSF is development of Youth entrepreneurship in the country. It is a matter of great privilege and pride that YSF has completed yet another year successfully. I feel very proud that YSF has worked hard and come a long way. I look forward to YSF becoming a stronger organization which can work on all important issues related to Youth skills development and empowerment.

Skill Development is essential to create a workforce empowered with the necessary and continuously upgraded skills, knowledge and internationally competent qualifications to gain access to decent employment and ensure India's competitiveness in the dynamic global market.

Concrete success of training methodology for Skill-concentrated vocational courses then need to prove themselves on Quality criteria of International occupational standards and Framework being setup by almost all emerging economies. In this way, it makes vocational skills qualifications more qualitative and relevant to the needs of the society.

According to the International Labour Organization (ILO), which has taken a great deal of interest in this world wide phenomenon, a qualifications framework is intended to improve understanding of qualifications in terms of information they convey to an employer about prospective a worker's competencies. Frameworks are also intended to explain how qualifications relate to each other and thus can be combined to build pathways within and across occupations in the education and training sectors.
